Winnipeg, Manitoba – March 31, 2021
The University of Winnipeg announced it will extend its contract with Kahunaverse Sports and adidas into the 2022 season, extending the agreement for one more year before going to RFP. The contract originally set to expire on June 30, 2021, was part of a three year contract between the university, Kahunaverse Sports and the adidas brand. The deal saw the university agree to adidas exclusivity within its uniforms and sports apparel category, all of which would be provided by Kahunaverse Sports. This contract extension will see the Wesmen hold the three stripes as part of their identity through the 2021/22 U Sport season.
